RESOURCES FOR UCR ENTOMOLOGY POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS
Postdoctoral scholars are valuable members of the Department of Entomology and make key contributions to entomological research. Here are a few important resources and links that you may find helpful.
Professional and Academic Development
UCR Graduate Division is the administrative home for postdoctoral scholars and provides a diverse array of services and resources to support postdoctoral training and professional development (https://graduate.ucr.edu/postdoctoral-studies). These programs are primarily run through the GradSuccess office (graduate.ucr.edu/gradsuccess). Popular programming include pedagogical training, quantitative training and support, writing support, and career services.
Additional information about living and working as a UCR postdoc is available in the Postdoctoral Scholar Handbook. We recognize that navigating the details of health insurance and benefits can be complicated. UC Postdoctoral Scholar Benefit Plan is managed by Gallagher Benefits Service. This site has in depth guides and explanations of services. Gallagher can also help answer any specific questions you may have.
